After a long wait on the horizon the new Seismograph is now online !
It’s not in it’s final location yet – this is a toss up between one of the flags in the cellar which are directly above the sandstone bedrock or in the new Conservatory Room which has a large new concrete slab.
The cellar is probably best from a detection pov but I don’t get to see the cool looking device very often. The conservatory means it is on display and the slab means I should pick up seismic events quite well but it maybe prone to vibration caused by lorries in the road outside.
Time for experimentation.
